Congratulations Pierre, indeed it was a Maribu! The official name is "Greater Adjutant". This very ugly bird can be up to 1,5 meter high and 2.5 meters large! We came across these birds a few times in Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda.
Here are some more shots we took on the shore of the Victoria Lake were fishermen dry their fishes.
